PERSONAL TAX MANAGER

Azoth Accountants are looking for a dynamic and growth driven Personal Tax Manager to support our rapid ongoing strategic expansion.

Azoth Solutions is an ACCA regulated practice based in Norwich founded by Steve Collins. We are now in a position where client growth requires a forward-thinking, planned and organised Personal Tax Manager to join the team.

The Role will primarily include managing Azoth Solution’s portfolio of personal tax clients. You will be responsible for completing and submitting personal tax returns alongside managing and reviewing work completed by the support team.

You will be the key contact for your client portfolio and will manage day-to-day queries, taking full ownership of the personal tax division. There will be a wide range of clients from sole traders to complex business owners.

This role is suitable for someone who is keen to join a highly ambitious team that want to lead the way in accountancy support. Azoth Solutions was set up to ensure that the highest level of financial interface can be provided to clients and the applicant must be motivated to always strive for better. Knowledge/Experience/Skills

• Qualified accountant or similar experience-based qualification.

• Proven knowledge of personal tax including tax calculations and key tax reliefs and application.

• Detailed knowledge of company and personal tax submissions including review and structuring of client’s setups.

• Expert ability with MS Excel. Excellent IT ability, including use of MS Word & MS Outlook, Teams and Zoom.

• Previous use of Xero and Iris Elements desirable.

Key Responsibilities / Description of Duties

• Complete personal tax returns for clients including review of all available allowances and tax optimisation opportunities.

• Assist in review and tax structuring of clients to add value to support being provided.

• Ensure client queries are answered within the Azoth operating procedures.

• Development of client relationships to ensure clients feel they are getting exemplary service in line with Azoth values.

• Working with the Azoth framework to ensure all compliance measures and Service level agreements are adhered to.

• Assist in reaching out to prospective clients to help grow Azoth Solutions.

• Ensuring all work is billed accurately and on time and managing your own portfolio credit control.

• Any other task as and when required to assist the client journey.

Remuneration / Benefits

• 37.5 hours per week / We support Hybrid working Patterns.

• Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm with ½ hour unpaid lunch.

• Salary £30k – £35k PA dependent on experience.

• 25 days per year pro rata (compulsory 3 days to be taken at Christmas.

• Discretionary bonus scheme subject to conditions.

• Option to join the company’s statutory pension scheme.

CLIENT ACCOUNT MANAGER

Azoth Accountants are looking for a dynamic and growth driven Client Account Manager to support our rapid ongoing strategic expansion.

Azoth is an ACCA regulated practice based in Norwich founded by Steve Collins. We are now in a position where client growth requires a forward-thinking, planned and organised Client Account Manager to join the team.

You will be the key contact for the Azoth client portfolio. The role will be the focal point of the Azoth team, coordinating new client onboarding and assisting all other departments in seeking client information and approvals prior to submission.

You will be responsible for HMRC authorisations and communications to ensure all agent authorisations are in place along with registering clients for new taxes and assisting clients through the onboarding journey.

You’ll liaise with HMRC and our internal team on behalf of our clients ensuring any client queries are dealt with efficiently and professionally across areas of Personal tax, CIS, PAYE, VAT, Companies House administration and Corporation Tax.

It will be critical for the role to build outstanding business relationships with the entire client base to ensure that the core ethos of Azoth engagement is maintained.

Knowledge/Experience/Skills

• Qualified accountant or similar experience-based qualification.

• Proven knowledge of the full workings of a busy accounts team.

• Ability to review systems and provide suggestions for refinement and better working practices

• Ability to engage with clients and form outstanding business relationships to ensure that client satisfaction is always maintained.

• Ability to work on multiple clients and prioritise workloads to ensure all key deadlines and Azoth standard operating procedures are maintained.

• Expert ability with MS Excel. Excellent IT ability, including use of MS Word & MS Outlook, Teams and Zoom.

• Previous use of Xero desirable.

Key Responsibilities / Description of Duties

• Ensure all compliance activities for ACCA regulated accounting practice are monitored and completed.

• Maintain client onboarding process with Engagement Letters and software input, to ensure all client requirements are monitored and achieved.

• Coordinate client approvals of stat accounts, corporation tax and VAT to assist the respective teams within Azoth.

• Development of client relationships to ensure clients feel they are getting exemplary service in line with Azoth values.

• Assist in reaching out to prospective clients to help grow Azoth Solutions.

• Complete and seek approvals for submission of company Annual Returns

• Ensuring all work is billed accurately and on time.

• Any other task as and when required to assist the client journey.
